Quneitra, SANA-The Higher Committee for People’s Assembly Elections held a meeting, Saturday, with several official, civil society figures, and dignitaries from Quneitra governorate, in the presence of governor Ahmad al-Dalati.
This meeting comes as part of the preparations for the upcoming People’s Assembly elections, with the aim of ensuring the success of this national event.
It discussed ways to enhance transparency and integrity in the electoral process. It also affirmed the importance of active participation in the upcoming constitutional election, reflecting the will of the people of the governorate and the responsible national role of all concerned parties.
A number of notables expressed their hope that the upcoming People’s Assembly, under the new government, will be a true voice for the citizens, stressing their concerns and aspirations, and striving to achieve the interests of the nation and its citizens alike.
