In his speech, Minister Badr highlighted the importance of the visit, as it represents the culmination of Turkey’s support for Syria after its liberation. It also marks the beginning of activating Syrian-Turkish cooperation in all areas that serve both peoples.

For his part, Minister Bulat congratulated Syria, its people, and its government on the new era, wishing stability and prosperity for the Syrian people.

He noted that the two countries are friends and will work together in all political, economic, commercial, and social fields to coordinate their integration.

Minister Bulat highlighted Syria’s role as a very important logistics hub, linking the Mediterranean, Middle East, and Gulf regions.

He indicated that the Turkish Ministry of Transport will be in full coordination with the Syrian Ministry of Transport.

Bulat also indicated that there has been a significant increase in maritime transport between the two countries, especially after the liberation, which requires the expansion and proper operation of Syrian ports.
