Damascus, Sept. 2 (SANA) Information Minister, Khaled Zaarour, said his visit to Saudi Arabia reflects the depth of fraternal relations between the two countries and openes wider prospects for media cooperation, including the exchange of expertise and professional capabilities and the development of joint media work.
In a post on X Wednesday, Zaarour expressed his appreciation to Saudi Information Minister, Salman al-Dossary, for the warm reception and hospitality during his tour of the Kingdom.
“We express our sincere appreciation to His Excellency Saudi Information Minister Salman al-Dossary for the warm reception and generous hospitality we received during our tour of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia,” Zaarour said.
The tour included visits to a number of leading media and research institutions, including the Saudi Ministry of Media, the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), MBC Group, Al Arabiya and the Saudi Research and Media Group (SRMG).
Zaarour made an official visit to Saudi Arabia on Sunday, during which he met his Saudi counterpart as part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations and expand media cooperation between the two countries.
SANA Director General Ziad al-Mahamid accompanied the Information Minister during the visit.
