Damascus, Aug. 7 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al- Shaibani affirmed that the bombing in Jaramana, Damascus Countryside, on Thursday, along with attempts to target civilians and undermine security and stability, will not deter Syrians from continuing the path of recovery and state-building.
In a post on his official X account, Minister al- Shaibani said that state institutions will continue to fulfill their duty to protect citizens, pursue those responsible for the bombing, and bring them to justice.
Earlier, an explosive device detonated inside a passenger bus in Jaramana. The Directorate of Referral, Ambulance, and Emergency Services at the Ministry of Health confirmed that the blast caused injuries. Civil Defense teams later reopened the affected road to traffic after clearing the site and removing debris.
