Damascus, Aug. 2 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa will receive on Monday at the People’s Palace in Damascus President of Iraq’s Kurdistan Region, Nechirvan Barzani, who is visiting Syria on an official visit.
The two sides are scheduled to hold talks covering bilateral relations and a number of issues of mutual interest, contributing to enhanced cooperation and coordination across various fields.
The visit comes as part of ongoing engagement between the two sides and discussions on ways to develop relations and strengthen cooperation in service of mutual interests.
