Damascus, August 1 (SANA) The Drug Enforcement Department at the Ministry of Interior dismantled a five-member network involved in promoting and trafficking narcotics during a specialized security operation in Damascus Countryside.
The department announced that the operation resulted in the arrest of all members of the network inside a farm in the town of Aqraba in Damascus Countryside.
The operation led to the seizure of 179 kilograms of narcotic substances, including 175 kilograms of hashish and 4 kilograms of marijuana.
