25 injured in traffic accidents and fires across Syria in past 24 hours

Damascus, July 17 (SANA) Twenty-five people were injured in traffic accidents and fires across Syria over the past 24 hours, the Syrian Civil Defense said on Friday.
 
According to the Civil Defense, teams responded to 19 traffic accidents that left 21 civilians injured. Emergency crews provided first aid, transported the injured to hospitals and secured the accident sites.
 
Firefighters also responded to 129 fires involving agricultural fields, crops, homes, commercial properties, vegetation, trees, garbage and electrical facilities. Four civilians were injured and treated at the scene, while the remaining incidents caused material damage only.
 
On Wednesday, two people were killed and 17 others were injured in separate traffic accidents and fires across Syria.
