Damascus, June 10 (SANA) Syrian and Turkish officials discussed the situation of Syrian refugees in Turkey, reconstruction efforts and ways to expand bilateral cooperation during talks in Damascus, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates said.
Qutaiba Qadeesh, Director of the International Cooperation Department at the ministry, met with Turkish Ambassador to Damascus Nuh Yilmaz to review a range of issues of mutual interest.
According to the ministry, the discussions focused on the situation of Syrian refugees in Turkey and ongoing efforts related to reconstruction and recovery in Syria.
The two sides also explored ways to strengthen economic and humanitarian cooperation between the two countries, reflecting growing engagement on issues linked to development and post-war recovery.
The meeting comes amid continuing efforts by Syria and Türkiye to advance cooperation in areas of mutual interest and address issues related to regional stability, economic development and humanitarian needs.
