Hasakah, May 24 (SANA) The Deputy Governor of Hasakah, Ahmad al-Hilali, said Sunday that the completion of parliamentary elections in the governorate constitutes an important strategic step toward strengthening national integration and restoring vitality to the governorate’s official and constitutional institutions.
Al-Hilali said in a statement that the electoral process reaffirms that the path to achieving legitimate rights and consolidating the values of partnership and citizenship runs exclusively through legal channels and legitimate state institutions — the framework that unites all Syrians.
He said the residents of Hasakah have demonstrated, through their awareness and commitment, their ability to overcome the difficult security conditions imposed by the past years and to move the governorate into a new phase defined by stability, development, and responsible political engagement.
Al-Hilali congratulated the governorate’s residents on the achievement, commending the Syrian government’s efforts in advancing this process and broadening political participation, saying Hasakah remains Syria’s beating heart of diversity and vitality.
Earlier Sunday, the Higher Committee for People’s Assembly Elections announced the names of the winning members from the Hasakeh and Qamishli constituencies in Hasakah Governorate and the Ain al-Arab constituency in Aleppo Governorate, following a voting process held Sunday morning.
