Damascus, May 9 (SANA) Syrian Defense Minister Major General Murhaf Abu Qasra made an official visit to the SAHA international Defense and Aerospace Exhibition in Istanbul upon an invitation from Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler.
During the visit,Minister, Abu Qasra was briefed on a range of advanced technologies and modern military equipment on display.
He met with representatives from several participating companies and held work meetings with Turkish Defense Minister Yaşar Güler and Turkish Chief of the General Staff General Selçuk Bayraktaroğlu.
During the talks, the two sides discussed issues of mutual interest, focusing on ways to enhance military cooperation between the two countries.
Major General Abu Qasra expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome extended by the Turkish Defense Minister, praising Türkiye’s efforts in developing its national defense industries and wishing the country continued progress and prosperity.
