Daraa, April 26 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces advanced Sunday between the villages of Jamlah and Saisoun in the Yarmouk Basin in Daraa countryside, southwestern Syria.
A SANA reporter in Daraa said an Israeli force consisting of 10 military vehicles moved into the outskirts of Jamlah village in the Yarmouk Basin before withdrawing and repositioning along the Jamlah–Saisoun road near the route leading to Wadi al-Raqad.
On Saturday, an Israeli force comprising three military vehicles advanced along al-Kassarat road in the northern countryside of Quneitra, where it set up a temporary checkpoint, searched passersby, and later withdrew toward the Jubata al-Khashab forest. Another force entered the village of al-Mushairfa, established a temporary checkpoint, conducted searches, and then withdrew from the area.
Israel continues to violate the 1974 Disengagement Agreement through repeated incursions into southern Syria, in addition to carrying out raids, arrests, and land bulldozing targeting civilians.
Syria has repeatedly called for the withdrawal of Israeli occupation forces from its territory, stressing that all measures taken in southern Syria are null and void and have no legal effect.
