Damascus, Mar.18 (SANA) Syrian Information Minister, Hamza al-Mustafa, affirmed that “The Revolution of Dignity” theme remains the most accurate and expressive of the meaning of the Syrian people’s struggles in their pursuit of building a State of equal citizenship with equal rights and responsibilities.
“In examining the complexities of the Syrian revolution, the difficulty of its paths, and the scale of sacrifices made by Syrians in confronting the deposed regime and its allies, the revolution has been described by various names, including ‘the impossible,’ ‘the orphaned,’ ‘the revealing,’ and ‘the revolution of the abandoned,” the Minister said Wednesday in a post on X.
“While each of those descriptions carries its own validity, the term -Revolution of Dignity- chosen and embraced by its initiators in Daraa on March 18, remains the most expressive of the meaning and purpose of the Syrian people’s struggle to build a state of equal citizenship in rights and duties,” Minister al-Mustafa said.
On March 18th, Syrians commemorate the 15th anniversary of the rise of The Syrian revolution against the deposed regime, demanding freedom and an end to decades of injustice and tyranny, a goal achieved on Liberation Day, December 8th, 2024.
