Damascus, March 10 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Monday with youth representatives from various initiatives and sectors to discuss ways to support young people and develop their skills and enhance their role in national building process.
The meeting, held at the People’s Palace in Damascus, focused on strengthening youth participation in national development and supporting youth-led initiatives.
President al-Sharaa said young people would play a key role in the country’s next phase and stressed the need to create an environment that encourages innovation and active participation in social and economic development.
The President also highlighted the importance of rehabilitation and integration programs for young people with disabilities to help them contribute to reconstruction efforts.
The meeting followed talks on Saturday between the president and representatives of civil society organizations on cooperation in rebuilding infrastructure in areas damaged during the war and facilitating the return of displaced people from camps to their home regions.
