Damascus, Jan.14 ( SANA) The Syrian Network for Human Rights said on Wednesday that six civilians, including a child and a woman, were killed during raids carried out by the SDF last month in the countryside of Deir Ezzor and Raqqa.

“On December 21, an SDF unit conducted large-scale raids and arrests in the town of Dhiban in eastern Deir Ezzor, killing three civilians, including a child, in addition to the arbitrary arrest of six civilians,” the Network said in a report.

The report added that on December 23, another SDF unit stormed a house in Jadidat Kahit in eastern Raqqa, killing three members of the same family, including an elderly woman by direct gunfire inside the house. No clashes or resistance were recorded, suggesting the incident may have been an extrajudicial execution.

It stressed that those killings constitute unlawful executions, carried out through arbitrary measures, and represent a serious violation of the right to life guaranteed by international human rights law. It also highlighted the arbitrary arrests accompanying those operations.

In an annual report, the Syrian Network for Human Rights Network stated that SDF origination killed 73 civilians in 2025, including 15 children, 14 women and 12 citizens due to torture. In December alone, 10 civilians were killed, including three women.
