Damascus, 06 Dec (SANA) The Circassian Tribes Council launched its first founding conference at the Sheraton Hotel in Damascus, with the participation of Circassian delegations from inside the country and abroad, alongside official and diplomatic figures.
SANA reporter said:” the conference highlights the sacrifices made by Circassians in Syria and around the world, as well as their national role in building the modern Syrian state and strengthening the values of citizenship. The event also aims to unify community efforts and enhance the contribution of Circassians to national development”.
Participants will discuss ways to reinforce communication among Circassians inside Syria and abroad, and to further solidify their presence in social, cultural, and national spheres.
