Health Minister Affirms Boosting Free Medical Services at Damascus International Fair

Damascus Countryside, SANA-As part of the 62nd edition of the Damascus International Fair, Minister of Health Musab al-Ali conducted a field tour of the pavilions of the Ministries of Health and Transport, as well as several sections of the Syrian pavilion.

In a statement to SANA’s correspondent, the Minister of Health said that the ministry aims, through its participation in the fair, to boost health awareness among citizens by offering advice and guidance for maintaining public health, in addition to deploying fully equipped ambulances with medical teams to serve the fair’s visitors.

The Health Minister pointed out that a mobile blood bank has been designated to receive around 90 donors daily, noting that he personally donated blood on the opening day of the fair as a step to promote social responsibility and ensure an adequate blood supply for emergency cases.

Dr. al-Ali revealed that the Ministry of Health has provided 500 first aid kits for vehicles to the Ministry of Transport’s pavilion, indicating that the ministry has responded by generalizing the inclusion of these kits as part of vehicle equipment to ensure citizens’ safety under various circumstances.
