Yemen strongly condemns Israeli airstrike on the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus

Sanaa, SANA- Yemen strongly condemned the Israeli airstrike on the vicinity of the presidential palace in Damascus and the repeated attacks on Syrian territory.

“The aggression is a blatant violation of the sovereignty of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic,” The Yemeni news agency, Saba Net, quoted the Yemeni Ministry of Foreign Affairs as saying in a statement.

The statement called on the international community to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to stop the repeated violations and crimes committed by the Israeli occupation in countries of the region, which would pose threat to security and stability of the region.

The statement reiterated Yemen’s support for the unity of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic and its territorial integrity.
