Doha, SANA -Emir of Qatar, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani , and the Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi affirmed the importance of preserving Syria’s unity, stability ,territorial integrity, and protecting the resources and of its people.
Spokesperson of the Egyptian Presidency Ambassador Mohamed el-Shenawy stated in a statement posted on his official Facebook page that al-Sisi and Al Thani discussed the situation in the region and a number of regional issues and developments.
They exchanged visions on efforts to achieve a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and address the deteriorating humanitarian situation there, by seeking to provide sufficient humanitarian aid to avoid the humanitarian catastrophe facing the Strip.
