UN condemns terrorist bombing in Manbij

New York, SANA- United Nations condemned the terrorist bombing that took place in Manbij city, eastern countryside of Aleppo, which led to the martyrdom of 20 citizens and the injury of others mostly women.

The UN News website reported that UN spokesman Stephane Dujarric reiterated in his daily press conference the need for all parties to fulfill their obligations under international humanitarian law to protect civilians, saying, “Civilians and civilian infrastructure should never be targeted.”

At the humanitarian level, the UN spokesman added: “The United Nations and its partners continue to provide assistance and expand the scope of UN assessment and monitoring missions, wherever security conditions permit.”
