Leader Al-Sharaa, British delegation discuss latest developments in Syria

Damascus, SANA-Leader Ahmed Al-Sharaa met with a delegation from the British Foreign Office to discuss the latest developments in Syria.

During the meeting, Leader Al-Sharaa stressed that what happened in Syria is a victory for the oppressed people over the criminal oppressor, and that this victory occurred without destruction of infrastructure or any displacement.

Al-Sharaa noted that the previous criminal regime destroyed everything, even state institutions, and targeted all sects.

He stressed the need to build a state of law and institutions while establishing security.

He also spoke about Britain’s key international role and the need to restore relations while calling for lifting all sanctions imposed on Syria to enable the displaced Syrians worldwide to return home.
