The chairman of Syria’s Central Commission for Control and Inspection, Amer al-Ali, met Sunday with Qatari Ambassador to Damascus, Khalifa Abdullah Al-Mahmoud, to explore avenues for enhancing bilateral cooperation in the field of anti-corruption.
During the meeting, held at the Commission’s headquarters in Damascus, al-Ali praised Qatar’s ongoing support for Syria and emphasized the importance of drawing on Qatar’s experience in oversight practices and the implementation of transparency standards.
Ambassador Al-Mahmoud reaffirmed his country’s commitment to supporting Syria across various sectors, particularly in combating corruption, in order to contribute to strengthening Syria’s capacity for recovery and development.
The meeting is part of ongoing collaboration between the Central Commission and Arab partners, aimed at exchanging expertise and advancing regulatory frameworks.
