Damascus, SANA- The Ministry of Sport and Youth will hold an honoring ceremony on Sunday for athletes who have achieved distinguished successes in international sporting events. The ceremony will take place at the Ministry’s headquarters in Damascus.
According to Ministry spokesperson Majd al-Haj Ahmad, the honoring will include approximately 25 male and female athletes who have achieved outstanding results in their international participations since the beginning of the year. This is in recognition of their efforts and to motivate them to continue their excellence and contributions.
The Ministry places special importance on young athletes and constantly strives to provide a suitable environment that enables them to reach the highest levels.
