Dallas, July 14 (SANA) Spain secured the first ticket to the 2026 World Cup final on Tuesday, defeating France 2-0 at the Dallas Stadium in the United States in the semi-final of the tournament.
Spain dominated the match from the start and took the lead in the first half through a penalty converted by Oyarzabal in the 22nd minute. Spain’s dominance continued into the second half, with Pedro Porro adding a second goal in the 57th minute to seal the victory and send his country through to the final.
Spain, reaching the final for the second time in their history, will face the winner of Wednesday’s semi-final between defending champions Argentina and England.
