Aleppo, May 24 (SANA) Ahli Aleppo defeated Al-Karama 93-84 on Saturday in the Final Six stage of the Syrian Men’s Basketball League in front of a large crowd at Al-Shahbaa Hall in Aleppo.
Al-Karama opened the game strongly and finished the first quarter with a 24-20 lead. Despite attempts to extend the advantage, Ahli Aleppo responded through Yazan Hariri to cut the deficit before halftime, with Al-Karama leading 44-42 at the break.
Led by Wael Jalilati and Mikey Dixon, Al-Karama maintained control in the third quarter and extended its lead to 67-60.
Ahli Aleppo rallied in the final quarter after new signing Mustafa Rashid scored from long range to help his side regain momentum and secure a nine-point victory.
