Riyadh, May 16 (SANA) Japan’s Gamba Osaka was crowned AFC Champions League Two champion Saturday after defeating Saudi Arabia’s Al-Nassr 1-0 in the final held in the Saudi capital Riyadh.
Turkish midfielder Deniz Hümmet scored the decisive goal in the 30th minute, securing the continental title for the Japanese side.
In the top-tier competition, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli had earlier claimed the AFC Champions League Elite title by defeating Japan’s Machilda in that tournament’s final.
