Homs, April 29 (SANA) Al-Karama won the Syrian U16 Basketball League title after defeating al-Shabiba 69–57 on Tuesday at Ghazwan Abu Zaid Hall in Homs in the final series.
Al-Karama had taken a major step toward the title by winning the opening game in Aleppo 73–68, securing the championship with two wins out of three.
Both teams reached the final after a closely contested semifinal stage. Al-Shabiba advanced over Ahli Aleppo, winning two of three games, 88–71 and 88–66.
Al-Karama reached the final after defeating al-Jaish in two consecutive games, 83–59 and 61–57.
