Damascus, April 8 (SANA) Al-Wehda secured a comprehensive 108–73 victory over al-Shabiba in a return-leg match of the Syrian men’s basketball league, played at Ratib al-Sheikh Najib Hall in Damascus.
The home side took control early, building a 60–30 lead by halftime.
Al-Wehda maintained its momentum in the second half with fast-paced play and a balanced scoring approach from inside and beyond the arc, while al-Shabiba struggled to contain the attack as the gap widened to 35 points.
In another result, Ahli Aleppo edged al-Hurriya 54–52 on Monday in the return-leg fixtures of the league.
