Homs, March 13 (SANA) Homs al-Fidaa defeated al-Shabiba 87-83 in a Syrian men’s basketball league match held at Ghazwan Abu Zeid Hall in Homs.
Homs al-Fidaa led throughout the game, finishing the first quarter 22-20 and extending their lead to 54-45 by halftime. Despite al-Shabiba narrowing the gap in the final quarter, Homs al-Fidaa held on for a four-point victory.
The win brought Homs al-Fidaa to 13 points, moving them into third place in the standings, just ahead of al-Shabiba in fourth. Al-Nawaeer and al-Ahli Aleppo top the league with 14 points each.
