Damascus, Feb. 17 (SANA) Aleppo’s team won Syria’s Central Mini-Football Championship, defeating Daraa 3-2 on penalties after a 3-3 draw at al-Fayhaa Stadium in Damascus.
The tournament, organized by the Sports Federation in coordination with the Supreme Committee for Mini Football, highlights the growing popularity of the sport in Syria and serves as a qualifier for the upcoming Arab championship in the United Arab Emirates.
