Madrid, Feb. 8 (SANA) Barcelona strengthened their position atop the Spanish La Liga table with a convincing 3-0 win over Mallorca on Saturday in the 23rd round of matches.
Robert Lewandowski opened the scoring in the 29th minute, with Lamine Djamel adding a second in the 61st, before Marc Bernal sealed the victory in the 83rd minute.
The win takes Barcelona to 58 points, four ahead of arch-rivals Real Madrid, who face Valencia on Sunday in a match that could have a major impact on the title race.
