Riyadh, Feb. 6 (SANA) Karim Benzema scored a hat-trick and provided an assist on his debut for Saudi Pro League leaders al-Hilal as they thrashed lowly al-Akhdood 6-0 on Thursday.
Benzema struck in the 31st, 60th, and 64th minutes, while Malcom added a goal in the 70th, and Salem al-Dawsari sealed the rout with a late brace in the 74th and 90+3 minutes.
The victory keeps al-Hilal top of the table with 50 points, three ahead of al-Ahli, who defeated al-Hazm 2-0 at the same time.
Benzema officially joined al-Hilal on Monday after terminating his contract with al-Ittihad and wasted no time making an impact with his new club.
