Paris Saint-Germainedge Strasbourg 2–1 to extend Ligue 1 lead

Paris, Feb.02 (SANA)   Paris Saint-Germain claimed a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Strasbourg on Sunday in Matchday 20 of the French Ligue 1.

Senny Mayulu put PSG ahead in the 22nd minute, but Strasbourg quickly equalized through Guéla Doué in the 27th. Portuguese defender Nuno Mendes struck the decisive goal in the 81st minute to secure the win for the visitors.

The result extended PSG’s lead at the top of the table with 48 points, while Strasbourg remained in seventh place with 30 points.
