Syrian chess player Mazen Fandi crowned Arab Blitz Champion

Mazen Fandi, the Syrian national chess player, won the gold medal in Blitz chess at the Arab Championship in Kuwait.
He finished at the top of the Blitz competition with a score of 7.5 points. Just the day before, Fandi had also claimed the Rapid chess title at the same event, finishing with 8.5 points.
