Doha, July.13 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa extended condolences in the Qatari capital, Doha, to Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, on the death of Father Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani.
President al-Sharaa expressed his sincere condolences to Sheikh Tamim, the ruling family and the brotherly Qatari people, praying that God grant the deceased His abundant mercy and forgiveness, and bestow patience and solace upon his family and loved ones.
President Ahmad al-Sharaa arrived earlier today in the Qatari capital, Doha, to offer condolences following the demise of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, father of Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
President al-Sharaa was accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Asaad Hassan al-Shibani, Minister of Culture, Mohammad Yassin al-Saleh, and Minister of Tourism Mazen al-Salhani.
The Qatari Amiri Diwan announced on Sunday morning the death of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, the country’s former Emir, at the age of 74.
