Damascus, May 9 (SANA) President Ahmad al-Sharaa issued Decree No. 101 appointing Basel Hafez al-Suwaidan as Minister of Agriculture.

Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Assistant Minister for Administrative and Financial Affairs
Manager of the agriculture and livestock sector at the Sovereign Fund
Served as General Manager of several agricultural investment companies
Held the position of Director General of the Monetary and Consumer Protection Institution in Idlib
Head of the Illicit Gains Committee
Member of the Import and Export Committee
