Ankara, July 10 (SANA) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on Friday reaffirmed Türkiye’s continued diplomatic efforts to support Lebanon’s security and stability, stressing the importance of fostering strong and balanced good-neighborly relations between Beirut and Damascus for the benefit of the entire region.

According to Türkiye’s Anadolu Agency, citing a statement from the Turkish Presidency’s Directorate of Communications, Erdoğan discussed bilateral relations and regional developments during talks with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at Vahdettin Mansion in Istanbul.

Erdoğan said Türkiye attaches great importance to its relations with Lebanon and will continue to provide all possible support, including humanitarian and development assistance, to help promote peace and stability in the country.

He added that intensified diplomatic engagement is essential at this stage to prevent further regional escalation, reaffirming Ankara’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Lebanon in ways that serve the interests of both countries.
