Damascus, June.8 (SANA) In coordination with the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, African diplomatic and consular missions accredited to the Syrian Arab Republic organized a diplomatic reception as part of celebrations marking Africa Day.
The event, held at the Golden Mezzeh Hotel in Damascus, was attended by a number of Syrian officials and members of the accredited diplomatic corps.
The occasion reflected the depth of relations and cooperation between Syria and African countries and fostered bonds of friendship, communication and mutual understanding between the two sides.
Participants underscored the importance of continuing dialogue and cooperation in ways that contribute to strengthening bilateral and multilateral relations and advancing areas of common interest.
