Damascus, May 25 (SANA) Deputy Interior Minister Maj. Gen. Abdul Qader Tahhan discussed with the French embassy delegation in Damascus, headed by Chargé d’Affaires Jean-Baptiste Faivre and Internal Security Attaché Jean-François Mériguet, mechanisms to develop bilateral relations between the two countries.
The Interior Ministry said on Monday that the talks focused on enhancing joint cooperation in the fields of internal security, protection services, and the exchange of professional expertise.
The meeting was attended by Director of Diplomatic Protection and Security Department Colonel Ahmad al-Hamadi, along with a representative from the ministry’s International Cooperation Department.
