London, April 19 (SANA) U.K. Minister of State for the Middle East, Hamish Falconer, reaffirmed that Britain will continue to support Syria.
The UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said on its account on X that Falconer participated in a discussion session on Syria at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, where he said: “Stability in Syria is essential for both regional and global security,” adding that “the United Kingdom will continue to support Syria’s recovery.”
Falconer took part in a session titled “Syria’s Path to Stability” as part of the forum.
Last July, the UK minister for the Middle East and North Africa stressed the need to respect Syria’s sovereignty, noting that Israeli attacks on its territory threaten to undermine stability.
