Ankara, Feb.5 (SANA) – Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, affirmed that his country supports a strong, stable and unified Syria with all its spectrums, pledging his country will continue its support in a manner that preserves Syria’s unity, security and stability.
“Türkiye supports a strong, stable and unified Syria, embracing all its diverse components,” Anadolu new agency quoted Erdogan as saying in a statement to journalists onboard his plane returning from Egypt.
He added that the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) adherence to the signed agreements will strengthen the climate of peace in Syria and contribute to achieving lasting stability, stressing that “establishing stability and peace in northern Syria is of direct concern to Türkiye.
Turkish president visited Saudi Arabia and Egypt as the three countries renewed their support for efforts to promote stability in the region, preserve the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Syria and meet the aspirations of the Syrian people for development and prosperity.
