President Ahmad al-Sharaa meets UN Chief Guterres on sidelines of COP30 in Brazil

President Ahmad al-Sharaa met on Thursday with United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres on the sidelines of the COP30 Climate Summit currently taking place in Belém, Brazil.

President Ahmad al-Sharaa was accompanied by Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani.

The Syrian delegation is participating in the COP30 sessions alongside representatives from more than 190 countries.
