The mass was presided over by His Eminence Metropolitan Antonios Saad, head of the Diocese of Bosra, Hauran, and Jabal al-Arab of the Greek Orthodox Church. In his sermon, he expressed profound sorrow and grief over the victims of the bombing, which claimed the lives of many innocent people. He strongly condemned the attack, calling it a heinous crime.

Metropolitan Saad called upon the Syrian people to uphold the values of faith, fraternity, love, and tolerance, and to reject terrorism and extremism in all its forms—urging unity in preserving civil peace. He affirmed that the souls of the martyrs who perished embody a powerful resurrection for Syria.

Prayers were offered and offerings presented during the liturgy for the repose of the victims’ souls, the healing of the wounded, and to provide comfort and solace to the grieving families and faithful.
