Lattakia, SANA-The Internal Security Department in Lattakia seized a depot containing weapons and ammunition in Qardaha.
This occurred following an expanded investigation into an outlaw who had been arrested several days earlier.
The Ministry of Interior stated on its Telegram channel that the detainee confessed during his interrogation to the existence of the depot and to using its contents to target army, security, and police positions on March 6.
It noted that the weapons were confiscated and the detainee was referred to the competent judiciary to take the necessary legal action against him.
