Lattakia governor receives phone call from President al-Sharaa to inquire about the situation in province

Lattakia, SANA-Lattakia governor Mohammad Othman received a phone call from President Ahmad al-Sharaa to check on the status of the province and its residents.

”We were honored by a call from President Ahmad al-Sharaa, in which he personally checked on the conditions of Lattakia governorate, the citizens, and the Eid atmosphere in the city and its countryside” the governor stated in a statement published on the governorate’s Telegram page.

Governor Othman added: “This paternalistic initiative reflects the President’s significant interest in direct and ongoing follow-up of the issues faced by the nation’s citizens. It confirms that Lattakia, similar to other regions in the country, is present in the conscience of the leadership and at the heart of its concerns, regardless of the time and circumstance”.

”We pledge to Mr. President to continue working with all our energy and dedication to serve our people, improve services, and consolidate security and stability throughout the governorate” he continued.
