Damascus, SANA- Internal Security Forces in Damascus countryside arrested Sunday a number of Daesh terrorist cells in areas of Western Ghouta.
They seized various weapons, where they were planning to use to destabilize the region.
“Commander of internal security in Damascus Countryside Governorate, Brigadier General Hussam al-Tahhan, said that according to accurate information received from General Intelligence Service to Terrorism Branch, noting to the presence of terrorist cells affiliated with Daesh organization, are operating in a number of areas in Western Ghouta”, Interior Ministry posted on its telegram Channel.
Al-Tahhan went on saying “we carried out a precise security operation on Sunday, as we arrested a number of terrorist cells, and seized quantities of light, medium and heavy weapons”.
He added “We assure our people that we will continue to perform our national duty and work to achieve security and stability”.
