President Al-Sharaa receives Arab and regional calls on recent developments in Syria

Damascus, SANA – The President of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Ahmad Al-Sharaa, received on Thursday three phone calls from Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani on the latest developments on the Syrian scene, especially the ongoing events in southern Syria.

During these calls, the three leaders expressed their full solidarity and support for the Syrian Arab Republic in these delicate circumstances, stressing their categorical rejection of any foreign interference, especially the consistent Israeli aggressions on the Syrian territory, which is poses a dangerous escalation that would complicate the regional scene, spread chaos and destabilize security and stability in the region.

The leaders emphasized their support for Syria’s unity and territorial integrity, the importance of the Syrian state’s extension of its full sovereignty over all its territories, and the establishment of security and stability as a top priority for the benefit of the Syrian people and all its components.

For his part, President Al-Sharaa expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Turkey and the State of Qatar for their supportive fraternal positions and their support for Syria in countering the current challenges.

President Al-Sharaa emphasized that the Syrian state remains committed to protecting all Syrian people of all sects and spectrum, stressing that the protection of all the Syrian people is the responsibility of the Syrian state, as is the responsibility of all components of the Syrian people.

President Al-Sharaa pointed out that what is happening is the result of arms proliferation and foreign interference, emphasizing the Syrian state’s commitment to hold accountable all those who break the law and refuse to submit to the authority of the state, in order to preserve the unity of the country and safeguard the dignity and security of citizens.
