Damascus, SANA- Damascus Public Attorney, Judge Hussam Khattab, affirmed that release of journalist Nour Suleiman will not affect the course of the case field against her, and that the legal procedures will be taken against her through the judiciary.
“Journalist Nour Suleiman published on her page phrases and posts inciting sectarianism, racism and hatred”, Judge Khattab told SANA Wednesday, adding “She was summoned by Public Security without a judicial warrant, which is an illegal procedure, therefore, she was released to ensure justice and freedoms”.
He went on saying: “We, the Public Attorney in Damascus, received Wednesday complaints against her, and we will take the necessary legal procedures and address this matter through the law”.
