Occupied Jerusalem, Sept. 14 (SANA) One Palestinian was wounded by Israeli forces and 15 others were detained on Monday during raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank, the Palestinian news agency WAFA reported.
Israeli forces raided Beit Ula, west of Hebron, and pursued a young man before opening live fire on his vehicle, wounding him, WAFA said.
The forces detained 15 Palestinians during raids in Tubas, Beit Ummar and Dura in Hebron, Qabatiya and Jalbun in Jenin, the Dheisheh and Aida refugee camps in Bethlehem, and Urif in Nablus.
Israeli forces also set up military checkpoints at entrances to Hebron and surrounding towns and villages, restricting Palestinian movement, while closing the entrances to Deir Ghazaleh, east of Jenin, and al-Laban al-Sharqiya, south of Nablus.
On Sunday, Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians during raids in Jenin and several surrounding towns and villages. The raids included searches of homes and field interrogations.
