Washington, July 21 (SANA) The U.S. military announced on Monday the start of a new wave of airstrikes against Iran, ordered by the Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces.
U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) stated in a post on the “X” platform, that the objective of the strikes is to weaken Iran’s military capabilities used to target commercial vessels and civilian crews transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
Earlier on Monday, the U.S. military confirmed it had carried out another wave of strikes on Iran, marking the ninth consecutive night of operations.
