Gaza, June 20 (SANA) An Israeli drone strike on the Bureij camp in the central Gaza Strip on Saturday killed Al Jazeera Mubasher cameraman Ahmed Washah and two other Palestinians, Palestinian sources said, while separate attacks killed two more Palestinians in Gaza City and Khan Younis.
Al Jazeera Mubasher said an Israeli drone targeted the Bureij camp, killing Washah and two others and wounding several more.
Washah’s brother, journalist Mohammed Washah, was killed in an Israeli strike on his vehicle on al-Rashid Street west of Gaza City on April 8. With Ahmed Washah’s death, the number of Al Jazeera journalists and staff killed since the start of the war on Gaza has risen to 13, according to the network.
Separately, a Palestinian was killed in an Israeli airstrike on a group of people near a gas station west of Khan Younis, while two others were killed in a separate strike on a home in the Bureij camp in central Gaza, according to the Palestinian news agency WAFA.
In the West Bank, three Palestinians were wounded in an attack by Israeli settlers in the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, medical and local sources told WAFA. The sources said the settlers, accompanied by Israeli forces, opened fire on Palestinians in the Qurinat area, wounding three people.
Earlier on Saturday, five Palestinians were killed in an Israeli strike on Gaza City, while Israeli forces continued raids and arrests across towns and villages in the West Bank, according to Palestinian sources.
